Avocado Chutney Recipe
YIELD: 4 cups (2 servings)

This delicious GAPS friendly recipe also works wonderfully as-is for those of you choosing to cleanse using Standard Process products. You’ll love adding this explosion of flavor and texture into your recipe repertoire even after your cleanse is finished!
Ingredients
- 1 large avocado (organic)
- 1 lime (juiced)
- 2 tsp cumin
- 2 tsp oregano (chopped)
- 1 tbsp cilantro (diced)
Instructions
- Combine avocado, corn, red pepper and onion in a medium sized bowl.
- Mix the rest of the ingredients together in a separate bowl.
- Pour the oils and spices over the veggie mixture and serve.
Note: I doubled this recipe for Daniel’s lunch. He’s a hungry man!
*Note to SP Cleanse Readers: Depending on whether you are going with the video explanation or printed explanation different amounts of oil are allowed. It can be a bit confusing. For example, some Standard Process cleanse recipes call for more oil than the recommended daily allowance in one meal!
After talking to the experts at Lifetime Family Wellness Center I’ve concluded that pretty significant amounts of oil are okay as long as you are eating them with lots of veggies and keeping the fruits in check. In fact, extra-virgin coconut oil supports glandular health and can actually speed up your metabolism. Yay healthy fats!
