Boppy Total Body Pillow Review & Giveaway!!!

When I was a little girl I remember hearing an account from someone that claims to have seen heaven. In their narration they described a couch/bed thingy that moved around you instead of requiring you to change positions to get comfortable. This was way before memory foam and sleep number beds. Back then, water beds were high tech.

The idea of an intuitive bed was simply charming. It belonged perfectly in my imaginary bedroom, which was an enchanted forest with tiny fairies, sprites and a pebble-lined brook running through it.

Fast forward a few decades. Pregnant with my second child, I am sitting in my chiropractor Dr. Cindy’s office discussing my miserable experience with what was once called “sleep.” I can not get comfortable . . . my hips feel like they are in two different zip codes and my neck feels like I am in some kind of torturous traction device.

During my first pregnancy I pushed myself too hard, reasoning that once the baby was born I would rest. I thought all that was required in caring for a newborn is to lay around and nurse. Somehow the fact that I was going to have to wake up and feed, rock and burp my baby every 2-4 hours for months on end did not register.

This time around, I view these precious last months of sleep before Babypotamus’ birth as something akin to the last watering hole before attempting to cross the Gobi Desert. So when Dr. Cindy recommended that I try the Boppy Total Body Pillow I headed directly to my local Target and picked it up.

I am a pretty frugal person so it was not easy to shell out $55 bucks, but after one night with my boppy I knew it was worth. every. single. penny.

It may not move on it’s own, but this thing is the closest thing I have ever found to that heavenly bed. It’s so intuitive I can almost imagine the blueprints falling straight from the Almighty into Boppy’s headquarters.

The last few weeks have been great with my new Boppy. I get comfortable more quickly, fall asleep faster and change positions less often throughout the night. If this pillow could only extend the amount of time I get to sleep it would likely be the most perfect device ever created.

Want one now? Good! Because I just happen to have one to give away! Thank you Boppy!

Not pregnant? Well, if you plan on becoming pregnant again or want to win this pillow as a gift for someone don’t hesitate to leave a comment! Even if you don’t plan on another baby (or don’t have a uterus), enter anyway! Boppy says the pillow can be used before, during, and after pregnancy. In other words, it’s great anytime! I have caught both Daniel and Katie snuggling my beloved pillow, so it’s great for just about anyone.

For a chance to win your very own Boppy Total Body Pillow leave a comment below telling me your favorite sleep tip or why you want this pillow.

I had a Snoogle which I gave to my pregnant sister… When I get pregnant again, I will be pillow-less! Oh no!

I co-sleep with soon to be two year old. This pillow looks like a hiding place, for those nights that you love your child, but just need a little bit of the bed to yourself.

Melanie – You are EXACTLY RIGHT. It is the perfect co-sleeping accessory. Katie often curls up to the opposite side while I rest my hand on her back. If I need to change positions I can do it without the risk of waking her now ; – )

sounds wonderful! especially since every night I try and create my little “nest” that somewhat resembles this pillow. Chad does too! we both use about 3-5 pillows each and I think one of us would love one of these, preggo or not ;-)

Esther, you have good reason to be excited. Daniel bought me two pillows during my last pregnancy (one was $100+ dollars) to try to help me get comfortable and neither are as good as this one!

This pillow looks AMAZING! Sleeping is one of the hardest parts of pregnancy for me. My last pregnancy I used a full body pillow and it helped some. I’m 15 wks along now and luckily I can still sleep on my tummy, but that won’t last for too much longer! I would love to win this, but if I don’t I think I might invest!

Congrats on your pregnancy, April! I’m a back sleeper myself. If I’m not pregnant I almost never sleep on my side . . . but with this pillow I just might change my ways for good!

Glad I found this post! I need a new boppy total pillow because mine is all worn out! I was/am “in love” with mine, and have been using it since I was three months pregnant with my second son, Tucker, which was almost 30 months ago. It has gotten pretty flat and I have had to start folding it over between my knees for it to do the same job. Thanks for this great giveaway….excited to see if I win :)
