About being obsessed with documenting stuff is that when the grandparents call to say they received an empty envelope instead of a promised letter, you just **might** have made a photocopy before sending it.

Dear Poppy, Mimi, and Kiki,
I love you both. And there’s coyotes in Tennessee. Micah really likes the mouse cookie book. And it’s really nice in Tennessee. And I love you both. And I really miss you. And I can’t wait to see you. Please write me a letter.

Sparta is really amazing. And we went to the library. The greatness that comes into me is so heavy and “pathionate.” It’s passionate and great and I can’t wait. I really like you.
Micah likes everyone. He really likes being in Tennessee. Micah has the ability to run and action because he knows how to do this. And he knows everything. Gigi is planting a lot of things. I don’t know yet, but I think it’s going to be all things that we like to eat!

Ha, I know! When we arrived in TN I got am email from the concierge at Whole Foods saying Katie left her play phone there. It would have been easy to replace but when the offered to mail it I couldn’t resist the thought of seeing Katie flip out over a package arriving for her! Yay for mail!

I need to be better about things like this. We have a tradition of doing a painted handprint and then listing favorites (favorite animal, color, plant, etc). It is so fun to look back on. I need to dedicate a file of something to keep them all in though. They are scattered around the house. Thanks for the reminder and sharing that seriously cute letter!

I am the same way, Megan! Daniel and Katie found a silver dollar on our last trip to Florida. I’d totally planned to frame it in a shadowbox but I procrastinated for so long that it got broken. Yay for digital stuff I can’t (usually) break!
