on August 13 | in Favorite Things/Giveaways | by | with 22 Comments

Hey Ya’ll!

Did you know you can use foods to reduce cellulite, diminish stretch marks, make skin more supple, and whiten your teeth? Are you curious about natural birth control methods or how childhood fevers may help prevent cancer?  I’m working on a follow-up to last week’s series on toxic mattresses and vaccines right now, but in the meantime I’d LOVE your opinion and I’m willing to bribe you for it!

Please fill out this survey  to help me decide which classes and books to offer next year. You’ll be entered to win $50 gift card to Amazon.com so you can choose your own adventure. So what will it be?

A) A new fermenting crock?

B) Cast iron skillet?

C ) The new Wiggles DVD?

Okay maybe not that last one, but you get the idea.

Filled out your survey. Had a problem with the one asking to order what we are most interested in 1-11. I tried but it kept automatically shifting back to the correct numerical order. I can’t remember them all now, but vaccines, alternative therapies, transitioning older kids to more whole foods are my tops.

Katie, I thought the same thing too at first, but then I realized that as I selected the number, it moved it to that spot for me.

    • Heather says:

Thank you for letting me know, Katie! I just looked into it and it turns out I should have told you to drag and drop in order of greatest preference. I’ve corrected the question now – THANK YOU!

  2. Robert McGoldrick via FB says:

had trouble with 1 part of the survey (commented on your page about it)

  3. Thank you for letting me know, Robert McGoldrick (or Katie!!!)

  4. Can I just say that trying to pick an order for the natural parenting topics was hard!! I wanted to make most of them #1. :)

  5. Kirsten says:

  9. Melanie Swan – I laugh every time I think about what a PEW reunion would sound these days – Samuel and Hem’s births, me talking about poop, and Kristen on everything from fertility diets to homeschooling. Now THAT’s my kind of reunion!

Everything sounds interesting. The first question on Natural Parenting had a lot that no longer applied to me, so I basically put those as the last 5. But everything sounds exciting!

  14. Heidi says:

    Heather,

I can’t wait to read your article about toxic mattresses. Will you be offering any suggestions for mattress covers? I have a 6 month old who has yet to spend one night in his crib and reading your article made me think I should get some kind of cover before he does. Love your blog!

    Best, Heidi

  15. Jessica Oswald says:

I just did the survey but accidentally left off my email is there anything I can do about it now?

  16. Maria Oller says:

Filled the survive. We are trying to get pregnant so the the vaccines are a really interesting subject.

  17. Thank you so much for this! I am interested in most of the parenting topics as well as the beauty. I want it all, please. :) I chose both ecourse, but honestly, if it was going to be a huge difference in price-I would like which ever one would be more affordable. :)

  18. stacy says:

For question #3 my answers would be the second answer as #1, the first answer as #2, and the the third answer last. Trying to drag and drop with a tablet is almost impossible…at least I haven’t figured it out yet.
