Affiliate Disclosure | in Favorite Things/Giveaways | by | with 1,208 Comments

Ohhhh I want this!

“Twelve-piece cookware sets for ninety-nine bucks are routinely hawked on late-night TV – often by friends of mine. But with a mere five pieces, you can do whatever you like – slay the dragon and then cook its tenderloin in the style of the duke of Wellington, if you want to.” ~ Mario Batali

I’m not sure I’d want to eat dragon, but Batali is right. There’s not a whole lot you can’t do with the right pieces. That’s why this month I’m  giving away this All-Clad Stainless Steel Cookware Set – it includes an 8-inch fry pan, 1-1/2-quart covered saucepan, 3-quart covered saute pan, and 6-quart covered stockpot.

Why I ♥ This Set

  • It’s oven-safe to 500 degrees fahrenheit, which means you can start something on the stove and then pop it in the oven to finish up without dirtying and extra dish.
  • It has an 18/10 stainless-steel interior with a pure aluminum inner core for even heating
  • All-Clad is legendary for quality and durability
  • It has “stay cool” handles secured with non-corrosive rivets

I was going to replace them at Williams Sonoma, if they still have the lifetime guarantee. Embarassed to say I got these used but I was still glad to have them. I’m tr;ying to run from the toxin monster, as I feel like a leper from a huge mercury toxicity problem with twelve fillings since I was a teenager, and it’s affected my skin desperately, and I’m in pain every day, plus many more symptoms.
