I am so excited to announce our two Baby Naming Contest Winners!!!
But first, I want to say a word about yesterday’s post on circumcision. I feel like I failed to communicate something very important in that post: The respect I have for others who have different opinions or make different choices than myself. Blogging is a platform in which my fears often seem to come true, like when I posted a recipe that was a total flop and ruined someone’s dinner. One of my fears about sharing my opinion is that it might hurt someone or make them feel judged or defensive. I think there is a good chance I may have hurt some of you. So before I go on I want to say I’m sorry to anyone who was negatively impacted by my words. Please know that I love you and do not hold to my “principles” as more important than you as a person. I mean that mostly to the people I am blessed to call friends that read this blog, but if we were strangers that met on the street it would be just as true. Thank you to the gracious commenters who displayed tremendous care and respect for one another’s convictions. You are amazing people and have really humbled me.
Okay, now to the winners:
Our pick was Kyran Levi, contributed byActually, Daniel and I couldn’t agree on an entry so this is MY PICK that he has completely vetoed. I have finally found a name I love and it has no shot : – (
