Spring Break

Affiliate Disclosure | in Our Family | by | with 7 Comments

Although it’s our goal to take a family vacation every September, we were a little busy pushing out a baby this last one.  Now since everyone else is on spring break I’m declaring one for us, too. I’ll be posting a few pics here and there, but for the most part I’ll be out until next week. See you then!

Yay, Heather! So glad you all are going to be able to take some time off!
Our last Spring Break was to Austin a few months before Lily was born, it was awesome. We tried to do the same thing this time with the three of us, but my midwife is concerned about me being 38 weeks and possibly not having 3+ hours to make the drive back if I go into labor…or something like that ;]
Enjoy your family!!! Maybe when you come back you can meet Stella and Baby ;]

Thanks, Mae! Since this was a last minute thing Daniel is still going to work, but his office is really close to the Fort Worth train, zoo and Arboreteum so we’ll be meeting up during his lunch hour for a midday romp. As for us, I’m taking my responsibilities down to the bare minimum for a week so we can pack in lots of fun stuff. I’m excited!

P.S. I totally hear you on being concerned about the 3+ hour drive. I didn’t feel comfortable traveling after 35 weeks even though I REALLY wanted to. Not that I regret it at all! Can’t wait to meet Baby and Stella!

Love the picture of Katie! Makes me want to be at the beach. Have a fun family week. I’m trying to do only “fun” things this week with my kiddos. We’re going to go see Tangled in 3D! oh and a slumber party with 5 year olds- that’s going to be LOADS of fun! =)

      That’s awesome, Kathryn! I can’t wait for my first sleepover . . . I mean Katie’s. Yeah right 😉

    Ahhhh, a vacation! Enjoy!

Thanks, Margo! Staying local is not as fun as our usual adventure, but I’ve got a few things planned for the kids and a few for myself!!
