Homemade chipotle mayo with homestyle fries

Smokey and flavorful with just the right amount of kick, this chipotle mayo recipe is amazing with crab cakes, homestyle fries, fish tacos, sandwiches, and avocado fries. It’s also been known to spice up a dull chicken salad or two, so don’t be afraid to get creative!

Infused with garlicky goodness and dried chipotle peppers, it’s super simple to make with my homemade mayo recipe or a store-bought version with good quality ingredients. (This is what I buy when I don’t have time to make my own.)

Now, if you’ve ever tried making homemade mayo and it flopped, I’ve got a tip that makes it nearly fail-proof. It’s faster, too!

How Not To Fail At Making Mayo (From Someone Who Has)

If you already have mayo ready, all you’ll need to make the recipe below is a bowl and a fork. If you’re making the mayo, though, the video below walks you through my easy peasy process for making mayo with an immersion blender.

Note: Sorry that some of the sections are a little out of focus. It was filmed a few years ago when my littlest was about to wake up from a nap, and I didn’t realize it was out of focus until later. I rarely get to reshoot if things don’t go perfectly, but I hope you find it helpful anyway.
